Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I forget my ID?
We will not allow any test candidate to take an exam without presenting a valid government issued ID. We will also not allow any photo copies or cellphone pictures of IDs. Test candidates are allowed to have someone bring proper identification for you. You could also leave the testing center and bring it back to the testing center in time. Most exams enable test candidates a grace period of 15 to 30 minutes after their scheduled exam time.
Can I bring an ID if it's expired?
All IDs must not be expired. If your ID is expired or has been hole punched, it will not be accepted.
Where can I place my personal belongings during the exam?
We provide lockers for our test candidates to place their belongings during the exam. Test candidates will also get the key to their locker and keep it with them until the end of their test. The lockers are 1' x 1' x 1'. Hence, some large items will not fit, such as laptop bags and motorcycle helmets. The testing center staff will offer to keep your items in the employee room, however we recommend keeping your belongings in your car or with someone if it will not fit inside the locker.
Can I take my test earlier than my appointment time?
For most exams, you can take your test early! However, please note that this is dependent on the availability of seats. If the testing center is fully booked and very busy, it will be unlikely that a test candidate will be able to test early.
Can I bring my own earplug or noise-canceling headphones?
Test candidates may not bring their own noise-canceling devices. However, we provide earplugs and headphones, free of charge! If you must have your own noise-canceling devices, please contact your test vendor for approval of the unauthorized item.
Can my friend or family wait for me during my test?
Unfortunately, individuals not taking an exam can not wait inside the testing center. This is a policy in place for security purposes. Most friends or family members wait at nearby coffee shops or the shopping plaza near by!
Can I bring my drink or water bottle into the testing room?
Drinks, including water, will not be permitted inside the testing room. However, test candidates will have access to drinking water at the testing center.
Can I bring my medication into the testing room?
For any items not normally permitted into the testing room, special permission is required through your testing vendor or school. Test candidates that bring medication without prior consent will not be allowed to bring those items, regardless of their importance. Test candidates may choose to test without the medication or reschedule after following proper protocol.
What happens if I'm running late?
Some exams are very strict and will not allow a test candidate to take their exam late. However, most exams will allow a test candidate to be late within a grace period of 15 or 30 minutes. Test candidates must contact their test vendors to reschedule their exam. Testing center staff will be unable to reschedule an exam.
Is there a dress code for the testing center?
There is no dress code for the testing center, hence we recommend that test candidates dress comfortable enough for their testing experience. However, most exams will not allow hoodies, accessories, and any outwear. If you are wearing something that is cultural or religious, you will not forced to take it off. Candidates with such items will be allowed to test.
